Global Intercessory Prayer Ministry began in 2009. Our new name: The Global Net, A Prayer Advocacy, and Missions Network simply reflects how God has expanded our work to become a sending agency for those whom God has called to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.  Being an advocate for prayer and creating prayer strategies for mission endeavors is foundational to the ministry of The Global Net.

Director Wayne Golden

Wayne Golden is a graduate of New Orleans Theological Seminary in New Orleans Louisiana.  Wayne has a passion for prayer and believes that prayer is foundational to everything we do and that nothing of eternal significance happens apart for Spirit-filled prayer with a Kingdom focus.

As a passionate advocate for prayer, Wayne leads prayer assemblies and prayer retreats for pastors.  Another aspect of his prayer advocacy ministry is helping churches develop prayer strategies for missions, evangelism, and to combat spiritual strongholds within the church.

Wayne has an extensive ministry in the country of Haiti where he has work for over thirty-five years.  He also has developed partnerships with several evangelical mission organizations to provide prayer support for missionaries and mission endeavors.

Wayne and his wife Elaine live in Ermo South Carolina. 

What We Believe: 

THE BIBLE

The Bible is the Word of God – Inspired, infallible, and is the authoritative standard for faith and conduct.

GOD

There is only one God. He is eternal in nature and reveals Himself in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST

He is the Word of God made flesh, the only begotten of the Father. He is God incarnate, eternal and sinless in nature. He is the brightness of God’s glory and the only way to God the Father. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He died as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of men. He was raised from the dead by the power of God and ascended to heaven where He is at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. He will return to earth and fulfill all God’s eternal plan for judgment and redemption.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

He is the third person of the Godhead – possessing all the attributes of divinity. He is the gift of the Father to believers and indwells those who surrender to Christ in faith. He empowers the believer for godly living and Kingdom service. He gifts every believer with divine gifts for service.

SALVATION

Salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is a gift of God through faith in Christ. Good works do not earn salvation, but rather salvation is a gift from God bestowed upon those who turn in faith and repentance from sin to Christ.
